PROMETHEUS – Video Installations, Color-Music Films, Lecture

Anastasia Maksimova, Aleksandr Ovsyannikov of the Prometheus Research Institute (Kazan, Russia) The legendary Prometheus Research Institute will present its “color-music films” created back in the Soviet era.  Alexander Ovsyannikov will lecture on the “Kazan pages” in the life of Lev Termen who invented the first electro-musical instrument “theremin”.  Viewers will also be introduced to one of the earliest examples of the Soviet applied color-music instrument “Disco” (1985).
